End User License Agreement

Please read this EULA carefully before installing or using the Dex Health Companion App.

1. License Grant: Dex Health grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on personal mobile devices solely for monitoring vital telemetry linked to Nicosia General Hospital clinic.

2. Medical Disclaimer: THIS APP IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES. Real-time telemetry is for clinician monitoring and preventative care coordination. In emergencies, call local rescue services immediately.

3. Device Compatibility: Only approved Bluetooth peripherals (like Linktop 5-in-1, Valdus Band) should be paired with the application telemetry receiver.

Acceptable App Usage

Dex Health regulates the clinical sandbox usage to protect medical systems infrastructure.

Prohibited Activities:

  • Intercepting BLE packet telemetry using sniffing tools.
  • Injecting fabricated or simulated vital signs recordings into the clinical portal.
  • Reverse-engineering the cryptographic signatures of Cognito cloud sync.

GDPR Information Notice

Dex Health processes data on behalf of Nicosia General Hospital, acting as a GDPR Data Processor, with the clinic acting as the GDPR Data Controller.

1. Types of Data Processed: Demographic identifiers (Name, DOB, Language) and Health Telemetry (Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Blood Oxygen, ECG Waveforms).

2. Legal Basis: Article 6(1)(a) Explicit Consent, and Article 9(2)(h) Medical Diagnosis / Health Care Coordination.

3. Your Rights: Under GDPR, you have the right to request access (Art 15), data rectification (Art 16), account erasure (Art 17), and data portability (Art 20).
